We Are Switching To Polaris!
From May 26th to June 3rd Cheshire Library will be changing the software that tracks our collection. This migration process will temporarily limit some of our usual functions.
What that means for you…
During that time:
You will NEED to bring your library card to the library for checking items out.
We will be unable to create new cards/patron accounts
We will be unable to place new interlibrary loan requests
We will be unable to register patrons from libraries outside of our system. (Hamden, Wallingford, etc.)
You will be able to check Encore for items but will NOT be able to login to check your personal account.
Checking the catalog using Encore will be inaccurate because it won’t be updating any items checked in or out.
We will not be able to place new holds or fill holds during this period of downtime.
You will not be able to use the self checkout machines.
