Hey Adults! One of the best ways to get your kids to read is to be a reading role model. So enter yourself in the Adult Summer Reading Club!
Join the Adult Summer Reading Program and you could win a $30 gift certificate to the Cheshire Chamber of Commerce. Read or listen to a book, then fill out an entry form with a brief review of the book (a sentence will work). Just drop the form in the box for your chance to win. Drawings will be held on July 30th and August 31st. You must be 18 or older and you do not need to be present to win.
Regular reading over the summer keeps kids from falling back and forgetting 1-3 months worth of school work. Summer is also the time kids get the freedom to read what they want to read, which is what will really help them to become life-long readers!
