Celebrities who write children’s books
Monday, September 29th, 2008Lately, it seems like ANYONE can write a children’s book, as long as they’re famous. Not surprisingly, most children’s books penned by celebrities are not the highest-quality literature - but many are fun, some are informational, and a select few are pretty darned good. Here are a few from our collection that fit into at least one of those categories:
Kickoff! by Tiki Barber
Our 50 States: a Family Adventure Across America by Lynne Cheney
The “Little Bill” series by Bill Cosby
The Brand New Kid by Katie Couric
Big Words For Little People by Jamie Lee Curtis
Dirt on My Shirt by Jeff Foxworthy
There’s a Chef in My Soup by Emeril Lagasse
Carnival of the Animals by John Lithgow
Freckleface Strawberry by Julianne Moore
Cooking Rocks! by Rachel Ray
Tell Me a Scary Story - But Not Too Scary! by Carl Reiner
Welcome to Your World, Baby by Brooke Shields
